A Leased circuit is a permanent, dedicated communication channel between two or more points, available at a monthly rental and reserved exclusively for use by the organization that leases it. They provide uninterrupted communication - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Leased Circuits are available to destinations both - within the country and internationally and offer complete security and confidentiality.

Leased circuits are the network solution of choice for connecting LANs. They offer greater availability of bandwidth and eliminate problems of physical deployment of resources, maintenance and interoperability. Leased Circuits are cost effective for high volume users and are provided through - cable and satellite. They can link the following:

Speech Circuits (Hot Line)
These are local or long distance circuits within two locations in a city or between two different cities provided for the same applicant. The Terminating Equipment at both ends is a telephone without dialing facility. Both way signaling and speech is possible.

Data Circuits
Local or long distance circuits at different speeds. Data circuits can be point to point, private data networks, telegraph circuits or international leased circuits.

LAN interconnection - Fast connection for high-speed, branch office applications such as email, file sharing and database applications.

Remote access - High performance transmission for voice, video, data and fax between headquarters, regional and other office sites.

Choice of bandwidth - From 64Kbit/s+
